PRESENT PERFECT TENSE

Structure: S + Have/has + past part

Eg: Has the teacher corrected our copybooks?

USE

Present perfect tense is used to express:

  1. A recently completed action we have just begun the lesson
  2. Past actions where time is not given or definite Eg: I have given instructions
  3. An action that begun in the past and goes on till now we have been there since 12

TIME MARKERS

  1. Already: a certain time before speaking
  2. Never: at no time
  3. Ever: at any time
  4. Just: immediately before speaking

Already: at any time

Ever: at any time

Never: at no time
