I Will give an exercise on the board and pupils are going to fill the blank space

Fill the blank space by either … or and neither …nor.

1)      I eat neither food nor rice

2)      She can … speak french … english

PRESENTATION

I Will present the lesson.

I Will write sentences on the black board containing the new items.

I Will read first and I will explain sentence by sentence

We have grammar lesson on the use of so + adj + that

1)      Kandele is so young that she can’t marry.

2)      My grand mother is so old that she can’t run.

3)      The english lesson is so difficalt that pupils don’t understand.

4)      Tha bag is so heavy that he couldn’t carry it.

5)      The car is so expensive that he can’t buy it.

FIXATION

I Will ask pupils to make a sentence  with so + adj + that

The best will be written on the board.

Make a sentence with so + adj + that ?

e.g. He is so fat that he can’t run away.

PRACTICE

I Will give an exercise and the pupils will do it on the board.

Insert so + adj + that to have a meaning ful sentence.

1)      The teacher  is tired he can’ t teach this lesson.

2)      English is important pupils must learn it.

3)      He is short he can’t climb on a tree.

4)      Diamond is expensive he can’t buy it.

5)      He is pat he can’t run away.
